These Danmoto Performance headers are made of CNC mandrel bent, TIG welded SS304 stainless steel Tube. They replace the stock headers(which are equipped with a very restrictive Catalytic converter) to increase the flow through the exhaust system, which increases the engine performance. These headers feature stepped header flanges, a full merge collector and a light weight construction. By installing these, you can get about 6-10hp on top end and more torque in mid range. By replacing your stock headers with one of these you also reduce the weight of your bike and reduce the engine running temperature. The Danmoto Performance headers fit exactly like the stock headers. They have the same mounting points and O2 sensor ports. You can also re-install the original heat shields, to keep the factory look. In this way you can’t see that these headers are installed , but you can feel it on the throttle. They are compatible with the stock mufflers as well as with aftermarket mufflers. The connection flanges are exactly in the same position and in the same size as the ones on the stock headers.
